Gérard Lopez praises Robert Kubica

The Renault off-season F1 team has been eventful to say the least. After the crashgate story and the ousting of Flavio Briatore, the French team wanted to start again on healthier foundations. Genii Capital arrived, headed by Gérard Lopez, and Robert Kubica came to take on the role of number 1 driver after the departure of Fernando Alonso in Ferrari.

All these changes were cause for concern. But the least we can say is that the diamond firm is doing very well for the moment, in particular thanks to the excellent performances of its Polish driver. Performances that Gérard Lopez was keen to salute.
