Grosjean already threatened?

Replacement for Nelson Piquet in the team Renault F1 since the Valencia Grand Prix, Romain Grosjean was launched into the deep end of F1 after starting the season in the GP2 Series. At the wheel of a car uncompetitive, Franco-Switzerland has since struggled as best it can alongside Fernando Alonso and continues his learning of F1.

However, after the announcement of the departure of the double World Champion Ferrari in 2010, that of Romain Grosjean was mentioned. The latter has barely had time to settle into the seat of the R29 before there is already talk of replacing him. The name of Franck Montagny is now cited as a possible successor to the championship winner F3 Euro Series 2007.

After only two months in the Renault F1 team, Romain Grosjean sees himself at the heart of the transfer market even though he should not. Renault's desire to put him in the R29 seat during the season in order to prepare for 2010 was beneficial. But it will have been of no use if the Franco-Swiss was not confirmed for next year.
