Grosjean and Magnussen formalize their departure from Haas

We told you this Wednesday on our site, it’s now official. Romain Grosjean et Kevin Magnussen are playing their final season with Haas F1 team.

« The last chapter is closed and the book is finished, writes the French pilot first before continuing. I have been with the Haas F1 Team since day one. Five years in which we went through ups and downs, scored 110 points in 92 races, but the journey was worth it. I learned a lot, I improved to be a better driver as well as a better man ».

Same story with Kevin Magnussen who can only thank the entire team after a four-year collaboration. “ I had a great time with the team over the last four years. I will always remember this adventure.

Being part of a new team was a great challenge that I enjoyed. I gained a lot of experience which helped me grow as a pilot ».

Romain Grosjean also wanted to put aside the sporting aspect to only talk about the human aspect. He hopes to have helped team members improve. This is probably my proudest moment, more than any of the crazy first races in 2016 or 4th place at the 2018 Austrian GP ". Before concluding : " I wish the team all the best for the future.” ».

Romain Grosjean does not know what his future will hold. There Formula E or endurance could be possibilities for the rest of his career. Kevin Magnussen's is more vague.

According to our information Nikita mazepin et Mick Schumacher are expected to form the Haas F1 Team line-up next year.
