Grosjean: Haas, its best chance for the title

Romain Grosjean took a gamble by leaving Lotus F1 Team (taken over by Renault) for the new stable Haas F1 Team. Worried by the unclear situation in which his team was operating, the Frenchman bet on the American structure which could open other doors for him with its partnership with the Team Ferrari.

“Social media was saying: ‘Ah, Grosjean signed with Haas, he must have already signed a contract with Ferrari’, but that’s completely false,” commented the former GP2 Series champion to Reuters. “I’ve wanted to drive for Ferrari since I was five. Will it ever happen? I have no idea, but it would be a dream…”

Still looking for his first victory, Romain Grosjean has not given up on his hopes of one day being world champion. “This is the best chance I have. I can gain new experiences, be better prepared. You have to have the best car to be titled. I don't know if it will ever happen, with Haas or another team.", added the Haas F1 Team recruit.
