Grosjean: “My best qualification”

Romain Grosjean was not particularly satisfied following his elimination in Q2 during the qualifying session for the Italian Grand Prix. However, the pilot Renault recognized that his place on the grid (12th) proved a certain performance on his part. “ The car was very difficult to drive but twelfth is not bad, you have to put things into perspective. It’s a great performance, it’s only my third Grand Prix. This is my best qualifying since the start of the year, I am not far from Fernando. »

For the race, the former GP2 Series driver recognizes that, from 12th place and with the SREC (kinetic energy recovery system), he can claim a good result. “ We'll see? We have the SREC, it will help us at the start but the race will be long. We will discuss the strategy to adopt with the engineers. If I get into the Top 10, I will be happy, if I score a point, I will be even happier. »
