Grosjean: “A good race before the break”

Sole points provider for the American team since the start of the season, Romain Grosjean can be satisfied with the first part of the season of Gene's training Haas. Having entered the top 10 four times, the Frenchman will aim for a fifth harvest this weekend in Germany.

“It’s a long season and we’re only a little more than halfway through the championship, comments the former Lotus driver. We had an amazing first half of the season and I'm sure we can do even better in the second part. For this we really need to keep working, keep concentrating and take a little rest whenever we can.

I would like to leave with a good race before the break, It’s always good to get a morale boost before the holidays. Everyone can reflect on what we have done and what we can do, even better. »

Back to the calendar F1 after a year of absence in 2015, the German Grand Prix will take place at Hockenheim, a track which has smiled on Romain Grosjean in the past in the lower disciplines.

“I won on this circuit in Formula 3, and in Formula Renault 1.6. I won here also in the GP2 Series before a penalty after the race which dropped me to second position. Every year is different though.
