Hamilton was troubled by worries

Lewis Hamilton is already World Champion but the pressure remains high for a driver barely 25 years old. Between media pressure and sporting issues, the drivers of F1 must have a strong mind to be able to face all situations. The 2008 World Champion tried as best he could to manage his season, which was disrupted by problems in his private life.

The pilot McLaren thus confided that his personal life had disrupted his season. “My private life has not been easy (this season),” said Lewis Hamilton in an interview with the BBC. “My life has not been as pleasant as in the past. Everything has to go well around me for me to do what I do. »

Lewis Hamilton explains that the main difficulty was to control his image so as not to let anything show through. “It's not just a question of getting to the circuit and driving,” he added. “You have to be able to control your image, that of your loved ones around you, family and friends and the little time you have to be with them.”

The 2008 World Champion did not wish to be more explicit than that, but he nevertheless denied any quarrel with his partner Nicole Scherzinger, the singer of the Pussycat Dolls. However, Lewis Hamilton could be referring to relations with his father which have become somewhat strained since the McLaren driver indicated that he no longer wanted to be managed by his father.
