Hamilton: 'I wasn't good enough' in Monaco

Lewis Hamilton was not able to offer the double to Mercedes AMG F1 at the Monaco Grand Prix despite his second place on the grid. If the Briton retained the advantage over the Red Bull de Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, the 2008 world champion, lost two positions during his first pit stop. “I’m not going to put it down to bad luck.”, commented Lewis Hamilton after the Monaco Grand Prix. “I wasn’t good enough this weekend. I congratulate Nico (Rosberg) and the whole team because they did a fantastic job today. I have to work even harder. What happened today was my fault. I was told to have a lead of six seconds (over Sebastian Vettel). I had a sufficient lead but I lost it. It's part of motorsport. »
