Hamilton dreams of a different Grand Prix format

The current Grand Prix format, with a Friday reserved for practice, a Saturday for the final test session and qualifying, and a Sunday for the race, seems boring Lewis Hamilton. While the Strategic Group of F1 explores several avenues to develop the discipline and the spectacle offered to the public, the pilot Mercedes was in favor of changes in the way weekends take place.

« As an F1 fan, I am 1000% in favor of it », declared the Championship leader. “It has almost always been the same Thursday (reserved for press conferences), Friday, Saturday and Sunday during my nine years in the discipline, except for the qualifications which have evolved a little. But generally speaking, the format has remained exactly the same. I don't know what solution we can find. Any one of us can have an idea and 99% of them might not be that good. »
