Hamilton: “Still areas for improvement”

Lewis Hamilton wanted to make up for it after being beaten by Nico Rosberg in Barcelona in Catalonia on May 10. It was in the best possible way that the Briton started his weekend in the Principality by twice placing at the top of the Thursday practice sessions.

“The goal is always to get into the rhythm as quickly as you can and be very precise in the changes you make to the settings, so you don't go in the wrong direction,
believes the world champion. Balance wasn't far away today ? and there are always areas for improvement. Now we have to work well tomorrow, take the right steps forward with the car. »

Optimism reigns among Mercedes, and Toto wolff, boss of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport is expecting a tough internal fight. “The car is working well, but there are still opportunities to improve before Saturday. There is a one day break but it will be busy tomorrow. It will be an intense battle between the two drivers and with our rivals. »
