During the press point that he hosts every Thursday of Grands Prix, Mario Theissen was optimistic about the chances of the BMW-Sauber team to be present on the 2010 grid. Bought by the company Qadbak Investments, the team will not currently only has one place on the bench but Theissen thinks that the FIA will manage to increase the number of teams to fourteen, or 28 cars.
In the meantime, work continues at Hinwill, the next of which car will be powered by Ferrari if the situation finds a favorable outcome. On the financial side, the current Team Principal says he is certain that the team will have the means to achieve its ambitions. Finally, if he admitted that his personal situation was not a priority, he admitted that his future was “open”.
