For Christian Horner, the opponents come one after the other but the task of winning the Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles in Formula 1 remains the same. In 2022, Ferrari took the place of Mercedes in the role of the stable rival Red Bull after the first four rounds of the season.

Asked about the prospect of living a year in opposition to the Scuderia and no longer with the training led by Toto wolff, the main team of Red Bull Racing responded to speckled foil.

“Mattia Binotto is a good guy. Last year, there were a whole bunch of things that happened on and off the track. For the moment, everything is happening on the track. The races have so far been epic between Max (Verstappen) and Charles (Leclerc). »

But behind these laudatory comments, Christian Horner perceives a hidden danger. “If this continues like this, obviously at a certain point, the relationship will inevitably become heated (with Ferrari and Binotto. Ed.), as the stakes increase in the second half of the season.

So far, the fight has been manly, but correct and fair. And I think we should soon see Mercedes join the fight…” A reunion with Toto Wolff would be delicious!
