Horner: The public does not have to finance a team

The project of fcrowdfunding of Caterham F1 Team provoked many reactions. The paddock of the F1 is shared between the desire to continue the adventure and the action of asking the public to support the Leafield stable. However, Christian Horner is aware that the financial situation of certain teams is an important problem for F1. Marussia announced yesterday that it was closing its doors. “We need to discuss between teams, management and commercial rights owners to resolve these issues and create a better environment. We already went through a crisis in 2008 losing several teams like Honda and BMW. We had taken immediate steps to reduce costs for all teams. »
