A page turns towards theAlpine Academy. Present at the head of the pool of young pilots since 2016, at a time when we were still talking about Renault Sport Academy, Mia Sharizman is no longer the Director of theAlpine Academy since last week. According to our information, Alpine has named Julian Rouse, the former general manager of Arden, in the promotion formulas, who also worked for Fortec.

The Briton has already started working, since he was present in the Imola paddock, where he had the opportunity to introduce himself to the different teams of F2 et F3 in which the academy pilots are engaged. Alpine has not made any communication yet, but it could be that Julian Rouse's missions are slightly different, with synergies to be created and links to be strengthened between the young pilots of the academy and the sports programs ofAlpine.

Rouse's objective will be in particular to avoid seeing drivers on whom Alpine has largely invested in flying to other skies. Perhaps the most prominent example in recent years is Christian Lundgaard. Renault has invested in him since 2017, but due to a lack of opportunities at the end of last year, the Dane ended up joining theIndyCar, even thoughAlpine has a Hypercar program.

At a time when Davide Brivio, responsible for supervising, among other things, the academy Alpine, is also ordered to explore new possible opportunities for Alpine in competition in the future, the goal for the brand with the A arrow is to offer maximum opportunities for its young drivers in the future. Pierre Sancinéna, pilot who worked as an aerodynamic engineer at Alpine on A110 programs, and who was known for having coached Isack Hadjar since his beginnings in car in 2019, will be in tandem with Rouse, responsible more specifically for the development of the academy, which could ultimately extend toEndurance notably. The Frenchman will be responsible in particular for establishing links between sports, communication and marketing.
