Jamie Chadwick joins the Williams Driver Academy

Si Williams is in great difficulty on a sporting level in this year 2019 in the World Championship F1, the Grove team remains focused on the future, with the recruitment of the young Briton Jamie Chadwick as Driver Academy Development Driver.

The first winner in the W Series at Hockenheim at the start of the season, also titled in British GT in 2015 (GT4) then in MRF Challenge in 2018-2019, therefore joins the fold of Williams and will be entrusted with a simulator program, in addition to attend three European rounds including the British Grand Prix in July.

“The time spent on the simulator is a fantastic opportunity to continue my development, underlines the 20-year-old pilot. Jamie Chadwick joins Nicholas latifi within the Williams entity, the Canadian, leader of the FIA F2, being a reserve pilot for the structure founded by Frank Williams. The Bath native took second place last weekend at Zolder in the W Series, and remains championship leader after two rounds.
