After suffering two retirements in quick succession in Great Britain and at the Nürtburgring, Jenson Button returned to victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix, achieving his second success of the season after his first place in Montreal. Jenson Button still wants to believe in his chances, even if he knows that the gap will be difficult to close with only eight Grands Prix remaining. “It’s a big challenge because I’m 100 points behind Sebastian, but I like challenges”, comments the 2009 World Champion. “I never give up, we'll see what happens. Even though the performance gaps between the top teams are small, Jenson Button believes McLaren has the advantage. “Our pace in the race was very good, but there are no big differences between us, Ferrari and Red Bull », specifies the Briton. “We have won three of the last five races while the other teams have only won once each. So we are on the right track. Lewis' victory (Hamilton) in Germany and mine in Hungary proved that McLaren is on the rise. »
