It was a first in Israel. THE “Jerusalem Peace Road Show” brought together nearly 60 people for a unique spectacle in this historic place, giving pride of place to motor sports. On this occasion, Giancarlo Fisichella delighted the public by performing several tricks aboard a Ferrari F60 entered in the world championship Formula 1 2009 in the car with whom he ended his career replacing the then injured Felipe Massa. “It was really fantastic, an incredible feeling”, the Italian was moved as he got out of his car. “Driving in front of so many people in a place full of history was very exciting, as was visiting the Holy City this morning. It’s a memorable day for me”.
Alongside the Roman, Vitantonio Liuzzi, former pilot Toro Rosso and HRT, but also Rodolfo Gonzales, reservist at Marussia, and Antonio Fuoco, member of the Ferrari Driver Academy also came to take the wheel of majestic cars. Three F430s and a 458 Challenge drove in Jerusalem in front of a packed audience. The festivities of this first edition of the festival continue this Friday.
