Jonathan Wheatley in quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19

The International Automobile Federation (FIA), the Formula 1 and the team Red Bull announced this Thursday, November 26 in the morning the positive test for Covid-19 of the Sports Director of the Anglo-Austrian team, Jonathan Wheatley.

The Briton was checked upon his arrival in Bahrain in preparation for the two Grands Prix in Sakhir (November 27-29 and December 4-6). In accordance with the health protocol, Jonathan Wheatley will observe a 10-day quarantine period, enough to cause him to miss the Bahrain Grand Prix at the end of the month.

The FIA ​​specifies that no other Red Bull employees have been affected by the coronavirus. Jonathan Wheatley's work will be divided between several employees during the quarantine.
