Jonathan Wheatley in quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19
The International Automobile Federation (FIA), the Formula 1 and the team Red Bull announced this Thursday, November 26 in the morning the positive test for Covid-19 of the Sports Director of the Anglo-Austrian team, Jonathan Wheatley.
The Briton was checked upon his arrival in Bahrain in preparation for the two Grands Prix in Sakhir (November 27-29 and December 4-6). In accordance with the health protocol, Jonathan Wheatley will observe a 10-day quarantine period, enough to cause him to miss the Bahrain Grand Prix at the end of the month.
The FIA specifies that no other Red Bull employees have been affected by the coronavirus. Jonathan Wheatley's work will be divided between several employees during the quarantine.
