Kimi Räikkönen remains confident in Ferrari

Kimi Räikkönen did not make a triumphant return to Ferrari since the 2007 world champion only took seventh place at the finish of the Australian Grand Prix after benefiting from the exclusion of Daniel Ricciardo. " The brakes worked well. We had a little problem at the start, but it was the graining on the front tires which caused understeer and which caused me the most difficulty. I remain confident that we will find a solution at some point. I have found myself in this type of situation in the past and we will work to resolve this issue whether it takes a week or a month. »

The former Lotus driver who won in Melbourne last year is aware of the delay faced by Mercedes. However, the Finn does not lose hope. “We know more or less in which direction to move forward, but some things don't happen overnight. The development of the new elements will take time and we can only hope that they offer convincing results. We can only progress. »
