Does Kubica risk a penalty?

The first part of the BMW season saw drivers Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld make more mistakes. The Pole only scored two small points in Turkey while his teammate scored six. If the situation is difficult for the entire Hinwill team, that of Kubica could get a little darker.

During a season where the number of engines is limited to eight per driver, the Polish driver has already used five. The latest change took place last Friday during free practice for the British Grand Prix. If he were to exceed the authorized quota, Kubica could be penalized by the FIA. The latter has not yet revealed the list of sanctions, but it is certain that these would be penalties that the German team would do well without, having started the season well below its expectations.
