We explain it in issue 2095 of AUTOhebdo, already available in digital version, and from tomorrow on newsstands, the future of Valtteri Bottas and Pascal Wehrlein, both regularly identified to replace Nico Rosberg at Mercedes seems to be taking shape more and more.
It is ultimately the Finn who would hold the rope to support Lewis Hamilton this season. Bottas notably met members of the technical team at the Brackley factory before the end of 2016.
If Bottas is on his way to Mercedes, Pascal Wehrlein's 2017 season should however be written with Sauber F1 Team. These two transfers should therefore only leave the seats of Manor Racing available, Felipe Massa being announced as coming out of his retirement announced in 2016 to replace Bottas at Williams.
