F1 unveils calendar of 8 Grands Prix in 10 weeks

Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 will restart on the first weekend of July 2020 in Austria before continuing with seven events until the beginning of September.

F1 unveils calendar of 8 Grands Prix in 10 weeks

In accordance with what we have announced to you in recent weeks, the 2020 season of Formula 1 will start well with two Grands Prix on the Red Bull Ring (Austria) at the beginning of July. Sport has unveiled a new calendar for the first eight meetings spread over just 10 summer weeks! 

The five red lights will go out on July 5 for the start of the Austrian Grand Prix. The teams will remain on site until the following weekend for the Styrian Grand Prix, the region where the Austrian circuit is located (July 12).

Then head to the Hungaororing for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday July 19. The historic Silverstone circuit will be spoiled with two events: the British Grand Prix on August 2 and the F70 1th Anniversary Grand Prix (yes, that's its official name) on August 9.

The single-seaters will tackle the Catalan track in Barcelona (Spain) the following week (August 16) before continuing with the Belgian Grand Prix in the Ardennes at Spa-Francorchamps (August 30). The Temple of Speed, Monza, will close this first succession of races on September 6.

In addition to F1, la Formula 2 and Formula 3 will serve as support championships on all its destinations. The meetings will be held behind closed doors, without the presence of the public. Liberty Media still hopes to successfully complete a season comprising between “15 and 18 Grand Prix” in 2020. , with a finale expected in December.

Austrian Grand Prix: July 3-5

Styrian Grand Prix: July 10-12

Hungarian Grand Prix: July 17-19

British Grand Prix: July 31-August 1

F70 1th Anniversary Grand Prix: August 7-9

Spanish Grand Prix: August 14-16

Belgian Grand Prix: August 28-30

Italian Grand Prix: September 4-6
