F1 president Stefano Domenicali implied it during Audi's press conference, it's now official. The Belgian Grand Prix will be present on the 2023 calendar of the Formula 1. The announcement came this Sunday early in the afternoon, an hour before the start of the 2022 edition race.
" The Formula 1 can confirm that the Belgian Grand Prix will be on the 2023 calendar following an agreement to extend our partnership together. Further details on the 2023 calendar will be announced in due course. »
Confirmed on the program for next season, the Belgian Grand Prix ensures its survival within Formula 1 while its maintenance was more than threatened in the face of the influx of requests from countries with better financial arguments. However, the extension was only signed for an additional year, leaving doubt about the future of the Walloon meeting.
