Force India VJM08 could start on Friday

It's the only car 2015 to have not yet taken to the track in testing this year. Force India, who used his VJM07 last week in Barcelona in Catalonia to familiarize themselves with Pirelli tires, could line up the new VJM08 from this Friday in Spain.

“The VJM08 will arrive in Barcelona on Friday morning and the final set-up will take place in the garage at the circuit, explains Otmar Szafnauer, operations manager for Vijay Mallya's team. Our goal is to go out on Friday and the new car will evolve as much as possible throughout the weekend. It has made good progress over the last few days and has been started at the factory. It's always a key moment when the car really comes to life. We have seen a huge effort from every department over the last few months to get us to this point and we can't wait to see the car on track. »

The Mexican Sergio Pérez and the German Nico Hulkenberg will be the two starting drivers this season and should take turns at the wheel of the VJM08 this week in Catalonia.
