The FIA World Council has endorsed the calendar for the 2019 season F1 which will start in Melbourne (Australia) and end at the Yas Marina circuit (Abu Dhabi).

Sports regulations
The teams will now be responsible for the first inspections of their cars. They will have to declare them compliant with safety standards before they hit the track for the first time.
A checkered flag on panel will be presented at the end of the Grands Prix in addition to the waved flag.
From 2020, staff will have to observe a 9-hour break outside the circuit, an increase of one hour compared to the current regulations.
On the other hand, no trace of a possible 4th qualifying session which was to be set up next year.
Technical regulations for the 2019 season
The mirrors and rear spoilers will be corrected to improve visibility and safety.
The on-board cameras will be modified to enhance the spectacle on TV.
Rear lights will be added to improve safety.
The Halo will be slightly reworked to make pilot extraction easier.
