The Historic French GP keeps its dates

Age commands respect. If the modern version of Formula 1 French Grand Prix contested on the Paul-Ricard circuit (Var) was shamelessly brought forward by a week by those responsible for the discipline (moving from June 27 to 20), its historical leaning firmly sticks to its initial dates.

Thus, the rich history of F1 will be retraced in the Var from June 11 to 13. The deconfinement initiated in France allows the organizers HVM Racing and the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA) to welcome the public for what will be the first major event of the Historic calendar in France.

On the track, the action will be there with the impressive number of 11 grids! Three of them will be dedicated to Formula 1: the 1950s and 1960s with the HGPCA, the 1970s-1980s with the Masters Historic Racing then the early 2000s with the Maxx Formula.

Promotional formulas are not forgotten with Formula Ford, Formula Junior, F3, Formula Renault et F2. Team Lotus founder Colin Chapman will be celebrated through the Lotus & Caterham Trophy. Finally, the Historic Sports Car Masters and the Masters Endurance Legends will celebrate the history of GTs and sports prototypes up to the 2000s.
