The Historic French Grand Prix is preparing

With almost a month to go, the French Historic Grand Prix (June 11-13) is on track. The 2021 edition, the first to take place at Paul-Ricard (Var), has been confirmed by organizers HVM Racing and the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA).

In addition to the sports field combining quantity and quality, the big question concerned the presence of the public. After all, the Historic Monaco Grand Prix recently took place only with Monegasque spectators.

For this first historic event on French soil of the year, a spectator gauge will be imposed, this respecting the health protocol on the date of the Grand Prix. It is therefore still possible to obtain tickets for the three days or Sunday on the site tickets.gpfrance.com.

In addition, a free application will be offered to follow the twenty races on smartphones and tablets. It will thus be possible to directly access the live video coverage of the races, choose the camera shots, zoom in, freeze frames, rewind, etc. A first for a historic Grand Prix!

On the track, there will be no less than 11 platforms, including three dedicated to Formula 1 : the 1950s and 1960s with the HGPCA, the 1970s-1980s with the Masters Historic Racing then the early 2000s with the Maxx Formula.

Promotional formulas are not forgotten with Formula Ford, Formula Junior, F3, Formula Renault et F2. Finally, the Historic Sports Car Masters and the Masters Endurance Legends will be responsible for celebrating the history of GT and sports-protos.
