The world of motorsport reacts to the death of Sergio Marchionne

“He was an endearing, upright and courageous man, a non-conformist and visionary captain of industry. He was a prominent member of the FIA ​​Strategy Group for the Formula 1 and the FIA ​​High-Level Panel for road safety. His death is a considerable loss. On behalf of the entire FIA ​​community, all my thoughts are with his family, his friends and his teams at Ferrari and the Fiat-Chrysler Group.”

Chase carey, owner of Formula 1 via Liberty Media, describes Sergio Marchionne as “a leader and a friend. A leader, not only for F1 and the automotive industry, but for the business world in general. His contribution to this sport is immeasurable. He conducted (his work) with fervent passion, great energy and dedication, and inspired everyone around him. »
