The Renault engine will remain rebadged at Red Bull
If Red Bull has extended its partnership with Renault in 2016 despite heated discussions between the two companies, the stable of Milton Keynes rebadged the Power Unit of Viruses-Châtillon in Tag Heuer.
The Austrian outfit has confirmed that it will continue to rebadge the 6l turbo/hybrid V1.6 at the Diamond with the name of the Swiss watch manufacturer for the next two seasons, until the end of 2018.
" There F1 is part of Tag Heuer's DNA, declared Marc Biver, director of sports programs for the Swiss brand. This extension of the partnership gives us great visibility with a real focus on the future. We have many projects ahead of us in 2017 that will be both creative and exciting. »
