Red Bull Racing already at full strength

Second best time of the day, best time of a 2012 car and 97 laps completed, Mark Webber and Red Bull had a good day today in Jerez, Spain. The RB8 seems to be in the game, the opposite would have been surprising, but within the Austrian team, as usual, we are not getting carried away. “It was quite a good day, Webber points out. I think we are making good progress. As I often say, we are in the early days of the car concept, and we still have a lot to see before we race with it. But it's the same for all teams. We were good today regarding mileage. I think we could have done a little more, but overall it was positive, and the conditions were good for testing?.

Tomorrow, the Australian will hand over the wheel to the double German world champion Sebastian Vettel. “After yesterday's delay, we had a substantial program to review today, and I am delighted to say that we managed to complete the majority of it, adds Ian Morgan, who is head of engineering at Red Bull Racing. There were a few minor issues, but nothing major, so we didn't waste any time. Sebastian will be in the car tomorrow and we have a big program with him tomorrow”.
