Barcelona test figures

The winter tests in Barcelona highlighted the qualities of the Ferrari SF70H. The new car for the Team Ferrari seems to have good reliability and a good level of performance as indicated by the best times achieved by Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel.

The top teams nevertheless hid their game. Mercedes most certainly could have achieved better times. The W08 in any case seems very reliable given the number of laps completed. Red Bull seems a little further behind with the RB13, but the team Milton Keynes may well have concealed his true level of performance before Melbourne.

The Power Unit Renault still seems to be the engine furthest behind, except for the Honda unit. The tests of McLaren were worrying since the MCL32 was not able to complete a stint of more than a dozen laps during the second week of testing. The Woking team risks being penalized at the start of the season with this lack of running.
