Drivers will test 2021 Pirelli tires in free practice in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi

At work ! The pilots of Formula 1 will be used, both at the Bahrain Grand Prix (November 27-29) and at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (December 11-13) by Pirelli in order to test the tires planned for the 2021 season.

The Italian manufacturer will bring two sets of C3 tires to Sakhir. These can be used during Free Practice 1 and 2 for at least six laps. One of the two sets of tires must be worn to the same length in FP2, even if the driver has already used these C3 tires in the previous session.

In Yas Marina Bay, the cars will benefit from C4 tires, only available for FP2 and for at least eight timed laps.

For specialists, the pressure injected into the rubbers will be 21 psi on the front axle and 20,5 psi at the rear, respectively 1,5 and 0,5 psi less than in 2020.
