Pilots reject salary cap outright

Discussions aimed at introducing a salary cap of 30 million dollars, for two drivers from the same team, are struggling to get underway.

The proposal has been on the table since 2020. While well received by the teams, the salary cap has not been the subject of spectacular progress since. It must be said that the subject is as sensitive as pension reform, to use an example that everyone will understand. Officially, it is still under discussion, but for a longer term introduction. Not in 2023. What are we talking about? How would this salary cap work?
