Red Bulls at the forefront in EL2 in Singapore

Daniel Ricciardo improved his morning benchmark in Singapore GP practice by more than a second by setting a time of 1'40''852 in the second session. THE Red Bull are at the forefront since his teammate Max Verstappen is the closest with a half-second delay.

The RB13s beat the Mercedes W08. Lewis Hamilton ranked one tenth behind the second Red Bull, while Valtteri Bottas finished the session more than a second from the benchmark. The Silver Arrows nevertheless seemed to suffer from significant tire degradation over the long stints. Nico Hulkenberg completes the top five on its Renault R.S 17 which preceded the McLaren by Stoffel Vandoorne and Fernando Alonso.

Sergio Pérez finishes first Force India driver again with eighth place, two tenths ahead of his teammate Esteban Ocon. The VJM10s surround Kimi Räikkönen’s Ferrari. The single-seaters of the Team were discreet since Sebastian Vettel only ranked 11th after failing to complete a timed lap on ultra-soft tires. The title contender lost time by damaging his SF70H following contact with the wall which caused a “virtual safety car” to be put in place, as an advertising panel fell onto the track.

Sebastian Vettel is ahead of the Toro Rosso de Carlos Sainz Jr and Daniil Kvyat, while Jolyon Palmer (Renault) follows in 14th place ahead of the Williams by Felipe Massa and Lance strollStrolling along the Haas de Kevin Magnussen et Romain Grosjean only ahead of the Saubers of Pascal Wehrlein and Marcus Ericsson. The Frenchman gave himself a scare when he spun and narrowly avoided hitting the wall.

The final practice session for the Singapore GP will be contested this Saturday from 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Canal+ Décalé. Qualifying will follow from 15 p.m.
