Not only Max Verstappen was dominant over the Red Bull Ring, but he also caused panic in the statistics this weekend in Austria. The Dutchman notably signed his 50th career podium.

At 23, he equals the number of podiums of… Jenson Button! It is Lewis Hamilton who currently holds the record with 171 podiums ahead Michael Schumacher (155) Sebastian Vettel (122) Alain Prost (106), Kimi Raïkkönen (103) and Fernando Alonso (97)

The 2021 championship leader also achieved his very first Grand Slam this Sunday during the Austrian Grand Prix. To do this, Max Verstappen had to sign pole position but also the best lap in the race. But that's not all since the Red Bull driver also won the Grand Prix by leading from start to finish. A hell of a performance!

A feat that few pilots have managed to accomplish in their career. This is the case for three other active drivers: Lewis Hamilton six times, Sebastian Vettel four times and Fernando Alonso once.
The last Grand Slam in Formula 1 dated from the 2019 Abu-Dhabi Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes.

The arrival of F1 in Austria will have been prolific for Max Verstappen: 2 poles, 2 victories, 1 best lap in the race, 142 laps led out of 142 and therefore his first Grand Slam.
