Lewis Hamilton disappointed with his season

With three victories this season, the 2008 World Champion was the worst placed of the four contenders before the last GP in Abu Dhabi. Although it regularly managed to get on the podium, the performance of the MP4-25 remained insufficient in the face of the impressive RB6 and the return of Fernando Alonso.

Hamilton is obviously disappointed not to have been able to get closer to the title. “ It hasn?t been the most spectacular season for us “, conceded Lewis Hamilton. “ But we ended on a pretty good note, both going up (with teammate Jenson Button) on the podium and taking second place in the Manufacturers' Championship. »

The pilot McLaren consoles himself for his failure with the unwavering motivation of his team. “ We would have liked to have had a better year “, added Jenson Button’s teammate. “ Jenson and I supported the team all season, and they never gave up. I am really very proud of them. I hope we will have a better car next year and that we will be able to be competitive from the first race. »
