Lewis Hamilton won his sixth pole in a row at the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps, beating his teammate Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas.

Lewis Hamilton continues his streak of poles at Spa

Lewis Hamilton wins his tenth pole of the season, the 48th of his career, at the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps. The double world champion thus equals the record of Michael Schumacher in 2000 and 2001. The pilot Mercedes clocked a lap of 1'47"197 to beat his teammate by almost half a second Nico Rosberg.

Valtteri Bottas was the closest to the W06 Hybrid, ahead of Romain Grosjean who will have to move back five places on the grid. The Finn and the Frenchman finished more than a second behind the benchmark. Sergio Pérez achieved the fifth fastest time ahead Daniel Ricciardo and Felipe Massa. Pastor Maldonado is eighth in front Sebastian Vettel, only ninth, and Carlos Sainz Jr.

Nico Hulkenberg missed Q3 for a tenth behind Carlos Sainz Jr. The Force India driver was ahead Daniil Kvyat and Marcus Ericsson.
