Lewis Hamilton returns to Montreal

Lewis Hamilton, after winning his first Grand Prix of the season, in Turkey, returns to the land of his first victory. Her car being very effective on the long straights, the 2008 World Champion could come to Montreal to pick up his second victory of the season. And, disappointed to have won in Istanbul thanks to the clash of Red Bull, he could, moreover, demonstrate all his panache next weekend. In the meantime, Hamilton has not forgotten anything about his first GP F1 in Canada.

« I won my first Grand Prix in Montreal in 2007, confirms Hamilton. Does it seem so far away? But I have kept wonderful memories of this weekend: the pole position, the incredible number of safety car entries, the uncertainty of the last laps and, finally crossing the line, with an enormous feeling of relief and wonder. It was fantastic. »

« Coming back here in 2010 is great because it's a fast, demanding and unforgiving circuit. I love running here. It?s an incredibly difficult circuit. The walls are very close, it is a treacherous circuit because of the rubber balls. You must not make the slightest mistake. But I'm really looking forward to it. »
