If the circus of F1 has already experienced several sensitive topics of conversation last weekend in Melbourne (see: AUTO n°2158hebdo), the Bahrain GP paddock could still be lively the weekend of April 8.
According to Le Figaro, Liberty Media is reportedly preparing to unveil the broad outlines of its plans for 2021 where the technical regulations must be reviewed. This project is already causing teeth to grind, particularly those of the Team Ferrari which, through the voice of its president Sergio Marchionne, threatens to leave F1 if the idea of abandoning the MGU-H and sharing common elements were to be confirmed.
The new owners are also working on the renewal of the Concorde Agreements and the distribution of income between the teams. Here too, the Maranello team could lose its status as a privileged team.
