Liuzzi thinks about the first turn

“It’s good to be back in front after Turkey,” laughs the Italian. “We learned a lot from our recent races in Monaco and Istanbul and we worked hard to get back to our position. »

Equipped with the chassis with which he was racing at the start of the season (after having found faults with the one he drove in Istanbul), Liuzzi feels more confident: “The latest developments that we were able to test on Friday and Saturday morning bring a plus . Sixth place (he will ultimately be fifth on the grid) is a good position but the use of tires will be the important point of the Grand Prix. It will be a wild ride. »

Regarding his objectives, Tonio Liuzzi will first aim for the finish, the rest will follow: “Here, when you finish the race, you are never far from the points. So it's important to get through the first turn and then you can't make any mistakes because the walls are unforgiving. »
