Logan Sargeant back on board a Williams for FP2 in Brazil

After missing out on obtaining a Super License point in Mexico, Logan Sargeant will have a new opportunity to increase his capital with participation in Free Practice 2 on Saturday, in Brazil.

Logan Sargeant back on board a Williams for FP2 in Brazil

Catch-up session for Logan sargeant. The American will take part in Free Practice 2 on Saturday at the São Paulo Grand Prix. Two weeks ago, in Mexico, the possible future pilot Williams failed to obtain an additional Super License point, awarded if the distance covered in an official session exceeds 100 kilometers. Sargeant's FW44 broke down before he could reach the 100 kilometer mark. To make up for the blow, Williams will place its young driver back in the car byAlexander albon this week-end. Sprint race format requires, it will not be during FP1 that the American will be on track, but the next day, during FP2 after qualifying the day before.

Currently, Logan Sargeant has 28 points out of the 40 required to obtain the Super License and to qualify for a place in Formula 1. Williams has already announced that the American will be their second starting driver in 2, replacing Nicholas latifi, on the sole condition of obtaining his precious sesame. With this 3rd participation in Free Practice this season, Sargeant will try to make his task easier, he who also needs a good ranking in the championship. Formula 2 to glean the last necessary points.
