Lotus-Renault aims for victory in Monaco

After a 2nd place in qualifying and a podium for Robert Kubica at the Monaco GP in 2010, Eric Boullier is once again aiming for a fight for victory in the streets of Monaco. Lotus-Renault could achieve this if the potential of the R31 is fully exploited.

« I hope we get there », Declares Eric Boulllier, director of Lotus-Renault, on Autosport. “ If the car is good, I don't see why we couldn't fight for the lead of the race. Eric Boullier underlines that the potential of the R31 is very present, even if it has not been completely visible in recent races. “ We were surprised by Vitaly (Petrov)'s turn during Q3 in Spain », Adds the director of Lotus-Renault. “ He made a small mistake changing gear, but he could clearly finish in the front. Monaco should suit our car better and we should be able to fight for the lead of the race. »
