Lotus signed its first driver

The Lotus F1 Racing team is moving forward step by step in its F1 2010 project. If, on the technical side, the development of the single-seater is progressing, the boss of the Malaysian team announces the signing of a driver.

Mike Gascoyne, technical director of the team, had stated on several occasions that he wanted to place experienced drivers in the seat positions. Fairuz Fauzy, Malaysian driver and Formula entrant Renault 3.5 Series this season, he could join the team as a test driver.
