Mark Webber is furious. If the Australian driver saved the two points for ninth place, he could claim a much better result starting from the front row. However, he was harpooned by the car de Romain Grosjean and lost all the benefit of his good qualification.
« It was confirmed to me that it was once again Grosjean’s fault, Webber explains. We try to fight for good results and he tries to get to the third corner before everyone else, every time. It's really disappointing. He needs to think, it's still his fault, but how many times can you repeat the same mistake? It gets embarrassing at this level. »
Romain Grosjean was found responsible for the incident by the sports stewards, who gave him a 10-second stop & go.
