Following his cycling accident this winter, Mark Webber – currently fourth in the F1 World Championship – will undergo re-operation to remove two screws from his right leg.

“My tibia has consolidated enough for the surgeons to remove the screws,” confides the Australian. “It won’t be a big operation. I will only undergo local anesthesia and the titanium rod will be preserved. »

The pilot Red Bull will then be rested until the German Grand Prix on July 12 where he will try to achieve his first career victory for his 133rd Grand Prix.
