Marussia will not be able to take over the MR03

While Marussia seemed to be able to line up at the start of the Grands Prix in 2015, the hopes of the Russian team took another blow in the wing. The Strategic Group of F1 which met yesterday in Paris did not authorize the team to resume the MR03 from 2014, even if the latter was adapted to the new technical regulations.

Marussia needed unanimous agreement from the Strategic Group (including the five permanent teams and Force India) to be able to initiate its car last season, but this vote did not give him the expected result (Force India notably opposed it). The distribution of revenue from commercial rights appears to be to blame.

The administrators announced during the week that it was planned that Marussia leaves its administration, with the hope that a solution will be found in the long term.
