McLaren F1 plans to return to orange

McLaren F1 could use orange, its favorite color, for its future single-seaters in the coming seasons. The rapprochements between the Woking team and Honda and the upcoming departure of its title sponsor Vodafone could offer a great opportunity for the British team to abandon its silver livery similar to Mercedes AMG F1.

“Orange is a great color, especially for McLaren”, declared Team Principal Martin Whitmarsh on the Russian site F1News. “We already use it for our GT races and we will continue to use it.
