A new contract has been signed between the Australian city and Bernie Ecclestone to host the Australian F1 Grand Prix until 2020.

Melbourne will host F1 until 2020

Traditional opening stage of the season F1 for several years, the city of Melbourne will continue to host the premier discipline of motorsport until 2020. The new contract was signed last week in London with the great financier of F1 Bernie Ecclestone.

It was first of all the urban circuit of Adelaide in South Australia which hosted the discipline between 1985 and 1995, before moving to the south-east and Melbourne in 1996.

Australia will open the 2015 world championship on March 15.
