Montezemolo tackles Red Bull

After a very close sporting duel in 2010, Ferrari and Red Bull have already started the clashes of the 2011 season. The transfer of Neil Martin from Red Bull to Ferrari has not helped matters, the latter is now responsible for the strategy of the team of Maranello, an area in which the Scuderia made several mistakes last year.

For his part, Luca di Montezemolo confided that he did not appreciate the attitude of the World Champion team. He thinks in particular of the words of Dr Helmut Marko, convinced that Sebastian Vettel would make a mistake by joining Maranello. “I see people who have won the World Championship but who don't really know how to behave like World Champions,” explained the Ferrari president to Madonna di Campiglio at the Wroom gathering.

Somewhat annoyed by the success of Red Bull Racing and the arrogance that he seems to denounce, the president of Ferrari wanted to place himself in the historical context of the F1 ; Red Bull has been in F1 for six years, while Ferrari is the only team present continuously since the beginnings of F1. “When they have earned 10% of what we have earned, we will respond to them. »
