Nico Hülkenberg appreciates stability

Once again lined up alongside the Mexican Sergio Pérez this year at the wheel of the future VJM08, whose livery was revealed yesterday, Nico Hulkenberg explains that the stability of the technical regulations will be an advantage. “It will make things easier. There are no surprises, and you can start the season more comfortable because you know what to expect, explains the German. Of course, there are always small changes, so there will be things to learn. »

“Hülk” also has a positive assessment of its last campaign in F1. “I believe 2014 was my best year to date in F1, specifies the 27-year-old pilot. It was the moment when I could feel that I was comfortable with everything around me. The main thing I learned last year is that even when you struggle in qualifying, there is always an opportunity to have a good race. It is more important to have a regular racing rhythm and the right strategy on Sunday. We demonstrated this several times last season. I hope to accomplish spectacular things this year! That means scoring a lot of points, doing great races and having fun. We want to make life difficult for the teams in front of us. »

The VJM08 will not take to the track during the first session of winter testing in Jérez in Spain on February 1st. She should be lined up in Barcelona on February 19.
